Do you have a dream to perform on stage, to progress in dance or music, or even excel in creative writing or poetry? Then an LSMT grant might be for you.

 

We also consider anyone who has a passion for following courses in production.

 

If you are under 25 and need some funding to progress to the next stage of your formal training either at drama school, college, or university then perhaps the LSMT can help.

 

The first step to be considered for grant funding is to make your current creative arts educator aware of the trust and the reason that you think that funding would make a difference.

 

All grant applications must be supported by your current training provider e.g. college tutor, youth theatre lead, or dance teacher.

 

We typically ask for you to be at the end of Year 12 to be able to apply for funding although we will consider younger or older applicants on an extraordinary basis if they are supported by a current training provider.

 

Our application deadlines align with the UCAS cut-off dates to ensure that funds if awarded, are available for the start of the audition period. All applications requiring consideration should

be received by 31st October.
